Abstract

Indonesia suffered two megatrends that have occurred since the year 2010, the first is in line with the middle-class revolution has been exceeding income percapita of US $ 3000 per year, and the second is the phenomenon of demographic bonus that occurs of a greater number of productive population. Bonus demographics characterized by the number of productive age population (age range between 15 s / d 64 years) has the largest proportion in the history of independent Indonesia. Megatrend demographic bonus must be used as an opportunity or as an Engine of Growth with the development of creative economic system that has been initiated since 2006. The economic development based creative economy system need capital base, in the form of “creative capital”. Capital creativity is not a material capital but it is intellectual capital, cultural capital, social capital and structural capital. Creative capital is the “intellectual capital” that is nedded by entrepreneurs to goingcompete on Asean Economic Community (AEC). Intellectual capital is a combination of the capital of competence, knowledge, abilities,skills, commitment, and responsibility. People who have combined the skills with knowledge owned would become the creative ability (capability). Then if these capabilities are used in accordance with its authority, it will become as competency, and if the use of these competencies combined with a commitment, it will be born what is called intellectual capital. Thus the most important strategies to take advantage of the demographic bonus is “improving the quality of human resources of productive age, accompanied by making available jobs dan encourage growth and development of new entrepreneurs, as well as to formulate policies to strengthen investment in health, education and employment.
