Abstract

“Kata sepat” flash game is adapted from the “Kata Sepat” game card. “Kata Sepat” game has a purpose as a medium of mathematics learning for junior high school students on quadrilateral material. This research belongs to developing research adopting a 4D model that focuses on the development stage producing product design and validity. This product has an initial design in the form of a simple card game as the initial prototype. Then it is redesigned to produce prototype 2 in the form of flash. To know the validity level of the product, validation was carried out by several experts. It is viewed on various aspects including navigation, text/writing, interface, and contents aspects. The validation analysis showed the obtained calculation, 4,56, which was very valid category. Yet, it is necessary to do a trial on small-scale learning and improvement of several things in the game display. Keywords: kata sepat, media of mathematics learning, quadrilateral
